B1 Homes & Miss West Coast Neonatal Ambulance Project

The Miss West Coast 2017 program proudly supports children’s charity ToyBox International. The 2017 contestants, along with major partner B1 Homes are aiming to fundraise $120,000 to buy Western Australia a NETS (neonatal) ambulance.

This is a very special project. Western Australia is in critical need for a new NETS Ambulance to transfer neonates. All funds raised by our MWC contestants and B1 Homes team will go to funding an ambulance, which will protect our tiniest patients and transport around 900 WA babies each year. The current transport methods are no longer suitable, with the vital life-saving equipment and technology present now obsolete.

The new ambulance will enable the medical team on board to attend to these precious little cargo, without having to stop the vehicle. With the latest technology, the medical team will be able to monitor all the neonate’s levels and can communicate in real time with the specialists awaiting their arrival. This fully equipped transport system includes a ventilator, infusion pumps and nitric oxide along with the comprehensive monitoring systems.

If you’d like to donate please dig deep and support this very special project, knowing you are directly supporting local WA children and families! Get behind your favourite Miss West Coast contestant and it will count towards her total raised, potentially helping her win the title of Miss West Coast 2017 ToyBox Ambassador.

Thank you for helping to keep the ToyBox full, your generosity will help get this on the roads as soon as possible.
