ToyBox Australia is grateful for over thirteen years of partnering on events with Pink Tank Events. Pink Tank Events are a major supporter of ToyBox, giving us the opportunity to step in and run fundraising activities at their super successful events. All money raised by ToyBox via these events goes directly to ToyBox to fill grants. Pink Tank Events provides five-star entertainment, and their events are always sure to be a sell-out. Two major events that Pink Tank Events partners with ToyBox on are the Miss Universe Australia program and RQCC.

MISS UNIVERSE AUSTRALIA & MISS WEST COAST

The Miss Universe Australia program provides a platform for the country’s most beautiful, talented, educated and confident young women to compete for the Miss Universe Australia crown. Each year, over a hundred women are selected nationally as State Finalists and go on to take part in workshops and a self-development program run over a number of months. As part of the program, the women are given the opportunity to fundraise for ToyBox. Each year, ToyBox selects a charity partner and works with them to identify a specific grant for these motivated young women to fundraise for and support. This not only nurtures the philanthropic mindset of our future generations, but annually raises significant funds to make a real difference in the lives of sick and disadvantaged children. All MUA Finalists have a personalised online fundraising page set up for them. Many Finalists go further and create and run their own mini fundraising events for the charity. Over the season, the Finalists are also given the opportunity to get ‘hands on’ with helping out by donating their time to directly help families in need, whether it be cooking dinner for families at Ronald McDonald Houses nationally, volunteering at Camp Quality Camps or playing with children in the Starlight Express Rooms. At the National Final, the Finalist who has raised the most for ToyBox that year secures herself the title of Miss Universe Australia ToyBox Ambassador.

RQCC

RQCC sees twenty brave boxers, male and female, with no previous fighting experience and 11 weeks of RQCC training under their belts, jump into the ring in front of 1,200 plus of the city’s A-listers, media and sports lovers at the Crown Tower Ballroom. There is no other “top end of town” black tie event quite like this one. It is near impossible to replicate the constant excitement, from the participant’s grand entrances to watching your friend, colleague and/or family member rise to never imagined heights. All of this action in a setting worthy of an international world title event. RQCC takes everyday people out of their comfort zone and provides them with an intense, emotional challenge in a safe environment, that is life changing on a multitude of levels.

All funds raised on the night from the various fundraising initiatives, including the Bout Predictor, Raffle, Silent and Live Auctions, go directly to ToyBox Australia. RQCC was one of the first events to offer guests the opportunity to fund specific grants right there on the night, making tax-deductible donations to fund tangible, individual grants, enabling guests to head home from a sensational evening, knowing exactly how they have made a difference.
