FULL REFIT OF THE ‘FUN ON FOUR’ OUTDOOR PLAY SPACE AT PCH

ToyBox has funded a grant to transform the ‘Fun on Four’ outdoor play area at Perth Children’s Hospital into a fun, engaging outdoor play space to brighten the faces of the children while they stay in hospital.

Visualise the transformation of the existing outdoor space (shown above) into the bright, colourful, engaging spaces sketched below.

Outdoor cushions and picnic rugs will adorn the ground amongst new tables and chairs to allow the kids to eat outside. Large creative play equipment and games will be included in the undercover area. Kids will be racing around on trikes, basketballs will be bouncing while shooting hoops, and budding artists will be painting on the outdoor easels. Cubby Houses and sensory gardens will complete the area with colourful indigenous artwork brightening the walls.

Once finished, the space will be all about fun, hands-on activity, and imaginary play to brighten the days of the kids while they stay at Perth Children’s Hospital.
